When I was younger I could close my eyes and see all the things I wanted to become, all the dreams I clinged to for comfort. When I close my eyes now, all I see is the back of my eyelids. Maybe they were washed away with all the broken promises, all the lies and all the tears I've cried.
Where did they go?
Did they just disappear, without a trace?
Did they go on to someone else?
To someone better suited for the hardwork and effort to make those dreams happen?
What WERE they?
What did they look like?
Were they covered in glitter and dipped in sunlight?
Were they dark and edgy but guarded by Satyrs?

Losing And Winning

No one reads these anyways. They're more like a log for myself occasionally. I feel like I'm losing more and more people and even when I try my best to reach out to them, they want nothing to do with me. Oh well I guess. All's well that ends well. It just sucks, you know? I'm gaining a few people to really open up to. So I guess that's good, right? I'm at a low point right now but I'm trying to make the best of everything. My heart is broken and I'm trying to glue the pieces back together as best I can. But Elmers can only do so much. LOL
